This data is from actual energy usage in my apartment. The last 168 hours (7 days) are shown. Data is collected by a TED 5000 device connected to my power main.

The TED 5000 generates an hourly xml data file which generates the charts. Everything is rendered in HTML5 using the jQuery and RaphaelJS libraries.

This infographic is a proof of concept illustrating one possible visualization of live energy data. It has only been tested to work in Safari 4.
